PROJECT: Stryker Additive Manufacturing Facility, IDA Business Park, Carrigtwohill, Cork
The works comprised of the construction a new 90,000sqft additive manufacturing facility situated within an established technology park. The development included manufacturing floor space, ISO 7 cleanrooms, chiller rooms, plant room, finished goods area, offices, canteen, conference rooms and ancillary facilities. The building was constructed with a steel frame, precast concrete floors, in-situ concrete beams, columns, stairs and lift cores. The façade included an external SFS framing system with composite cladding panels, curtain walling and glazing. The project also included a heavily protected stand-alone Titanium Store building; all necessary site clearance/prep works and bulk dig/excavation, bored pile foundations, attenuation pond, paladin fencing/railings, all hard and soft landscaping, all underground site services and any making good required to the existing grounds impacted by the completion of these project works.
