A dis-used former primary school has been re-purposed into a cultural hub and now provides a stage, performance/community space, reception area, cafe, bar, toilets and showers, community landscaped gardens and orchard for the community and visitors, including all associated site works, hard/soft landscaping and site services.

The works included extensive restoration, refurbishment and extension works to the Former Sisters of Mercy Primary School built circa 1880 within the curtilage of Tulla Convent which is a protected structure.

The works also included the demolition of existing single storey site structures to rear of the school building and construction of a new single storey extension adjoining the existing building including a stair core to access the first floor of the existing building.
