PROJECT: Cuan Mhuire Residential Rehabilitation Facility, Bruree, Co. Limerick
Alteration and refurbishment works to the existing Protected Structure first floor of a stables building on the grounds of the Cuan Mhuire facility to provide 26no. single occupancy en-suite bedrooms, a doctors surgery for the residents, circulation space, full strip-out of the existing fit-out, replacement of aluminium/PVC windows at first floor level, all associated site works, hard/soft landscaping and site services.
The existing building is a protected structure listed as a Protected Structure in the Limerick County Development plan R.P.S. Ref. No. B39(3) and is also listed on the N.I.A.H Ref. No. 21804006.
The works to the existing building included specialist chemical treatment works for wet/dry rot; replacing timber heads with concrete lintels above all opes; partial repair/replacement of roof timbers; full electrical and mechanical services installations including stripping out of redundant services and all associated external works.
