Woods PS requires a Senior Building Services Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing engineering designs to ensure the optimum delivery of Clients’ projects.
- Using your experience in the design of Sustainable Building Services Design, M&E Systems, and HVAC.
- Involvement in all stages of the project lifecycle, from inception and design through to testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Mentoring of junior and intermediate-level Engineers and Technicians.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
- Be Chartered and preferably be a member of the Institution of Structural
- Engineers or the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers.
- Be fluent in spoken and written English.
- Have a minimum of 7 years experience with a proven track record in a design environment, familiar with the design of the following – Sustainable
- Building Services Design, M&E Systems, and HVAC.
- Have a proven track record of seeing conceptual designs through to completion and dealing directly with clients.
- Be confident with an approachable style and a track record as a target-driven self-starter and achiever with the ability to get the job right first time.
- Possess excellent report writing skills and experience in making presentations and attending meetings with clients essential.
- Possess the ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team and assist others in developing solutions and completing detailed design.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills and a consistent track record of initiative and achievement, with the ability to represent the Company at business presentations.
- Be committed to CPD.

The candidate will be always working under the mentorship of a senior engineer so full training and understanding of our systems will be provided.

Woods PS requires a CAD/BIM Technician to join our team.
These opportunities will suit ambitious and high-calibre Technicians who are interested in developing their careers beyond the production of drawings and can work with a high degree of autonomy.
Responsibilities will include:
- Production of 2D general arrangement drawings from 3D Revit Models & CAD 2D drawings.
- Preparation of GA co-ordination drawings
- Ensure models/documentation is developed in line with company BIM protocols and procedures.
- Participation in design review meetings.
- Production and maintenance of drawing registers and control of drawing revisions.
- Liaising with Clients and project teams manager to ascertain project needs and timelines for same.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of CAD drawing and/or Revit modeling.
