PROJECT: CROOM PRIMARY CARE CENTRE, CROOM, CO. LIMERICK

Construction of a new 14,000sqft 2-storey HSE Primary Care Centre facility to provide a pharmacy, GP consultation rooms, healthcare offices, dental suite, physiotherapy suite, clinical nursing rooms, paediatric suite, occupational therapy suite, reception area, waiting areas, patient/visitor toilet and changing facilities, staff changing rooms, staff canteen, plant room and comms room.

The site levels were manipulated to retain a potential flood storage volume post development of the site. The facility provides 60 car parking spaces, accessible car parking, set-down area for emergency vehicles, access road, boundary treatments, hard and soft landscaping, underground site services, waste disposal storage compound in a single storey building, a new storm-water drainage outfall to the adjacent Liskiltagh River and all associated site works.
